Photographer and cinematographer Michal Zvonar works between hospitality and design, capturing hotels, interiors, and the products designed for them, with an eye for light, material and mood. His approach is unhurried and warm: rooms photographed at the hour they look most like themselves, shadow kept where the designer placed it. Film and stills are made together, in one grade, so that everything a property publishes shares the same sensibility.

Based in Whistler and working across Vancouver and British Columbia, Michal has produced work for Mandarin Oriental Prague, Hilton Vancouver Downtown, Courtyard by Marriott, Studio Roslyn, Pure Design and Openspace Architecture, among others.

For furniture, lighting, textile and design brands, Michal produces campaign and lookbook photography and film in real interiors — product in situ, in the rooms it was designed for.
